Default Which 180* T-stat?

Having a bit of trouble finding the correct T-stat for my rig. Looks like the 4th gen's are running the Jet #10183 even though the web site says it not compatable with their rides. My 2500 is an 09 so it has the (new) hemi, like the 4th gen with the 3rd gen body. I'm trying to knock down some of the heat in the motor. Been 100+ for the past 16 days, and I've seen temps in the 220's. Haven't been towing for that very reason. Thanks for any input.

So no difference in 3rd gen/4th gen. looks like everyone is running the 10183 if they are using Jet. Thanks

Yeah, but I dont want you to get stuck on the Jet (cost-wise) when there are others for less out there.

I was looking at Hammer's post on part numbers. What is the difference and is there any benefit to a 2 stage T-stat?

IDK about that. I have always had and seen the regular stats. No fancy stat for me. With my 180* stat and efan, I normally run 185* when going down the road.
