Good #'s with that turbo. Is your truck, manual, or auto trans...AWD? I'm really interested in these turbo units. My truck needs more oomph

{droool}

Looks awesome - but still kinda pricey at $4999 MSRP...

417 RWHP / 460 RWTQ is quite impressive!!

I have also considered the GS supercharger for $4300

389 RWHP / 387 RWTQ

and add the BIG BOOST system (another $500) to it for a staggering

500 RWHP / 450 RWTQ.

What one would you guys choose? I'm confused[8D]

There are a variety of legitimate reasons why turbos are typically mounted as close as possible to the cyliner heads. I'd suggest anyone considering a "remote mount" system drive a vehicle with the setup prior to purchasing to be sure it is what you want and expect.

Be clear, I'm NOT saying that a remote system cannot be made to work and work well, but I've spent considerable time and effort successfully fabbing custom turbo (and supercharger) systems for both street and competition and know some of the issues that can arise. In many ways devising and executing a good street turbo system is the more difficult.

All the best.

I forgot to post the dyno numbers so here they are.

419rwhp at 7.3 lbs of boost. That's all the boost the dyno could make. I run 8.5 on the street. The dyno operator couldn't give me a real tq number because of the way he had to dyno it. The r's came up too fast and the trans kept wanting to down shift.

No doubt this makes what we expected at 8.5lbs of boost.

I have a 4x4 QC with the STS system. I have my boost dialed back and is only 5psi in this run from 0 to 70mph. Just remember this is a 4x4 QC with 92lb after market 20's on it.

And excuse the country music if you're not into that. LOL! Right click on it and do a "save as" so you can run it locally.

That is pretty sweet. I'm amazed you didn't have any traction problems with the power brake start. Have you had it on the track yet to get some "official" times. Best as I can tell it seems to be a 6.xx 0-60 time.

Haven't gotten a track time yet. Time is tough these days. Here is another that I did end up with a little tire spin. The APS stall converter will generally get me to about 2600rpms before the tires will start to churn but it had rained for 3 days straight so the roads were still a little moist....but dry...
