Default Antenna Help

Hey guys I have a question about a 2003 Ram SLT antenna wire. I bought my Ram from a fella who had an aftermarket CD player installed. I prefer the stock radio just for a more uniform look, so I went to a local salvage yard and got a stock radio/cd player for it. I hooked everything up and noticed that the radio stations were terrible. I took the radio out and ran my fingers up the antenna wire. I found that the wiring had been cut! I asked the guy I bought it from what happened and he said he had cut the wire to hook it up to his aftermarket before he knew an adapter harness existed!?! Anyways, my problem is that I have searched for a replacement antenna wire, and can't seem to locate anything. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement stock antenna wiring system? Or, if there is something like an XM or navigation antenna (the small black box) that will hook directly into the stock radio? I appreciate the help, I am lost at this point!

check eBay you can get after market antennas,
also there should be another connection just before it goes out the passenger side behind the kick panel so you only need 1 piece
then you don't even need the external antenna
a great spot to mount it is in the a pillar or in the center of the dash were that round vent looking thing id
make sure you get the right end

something like this

if you want to buy me this i will send you my antenna wire lol serious tho

Yeah, from the fender it comes in by the door and has a connection point right there in the pass side kick panel. From there the other piece goes from the kick panel, behind the glove box and to the radio.

IDK which part you are missing but any of it can be found at a junk yard or as said above, ebay.

I have an amplified hidden box located under the dash and the reception is not as good as the OEM antenna. I would recommend junk yard or radio shack.

Good luck...
