Default stock stereo

I'm not great with car audio so I need some help. I was wondering if you can hook up an amp and sub to the stock cd/radio. Have some parts in mu garage I took out from another vehicle that I would like to make use of, but I want to keep the stock stereo just to keep it looking stock.

sure can. You have to run the speaker wires from the head unit to the amp, then for the amp to the speakers. You will also need to wire the amp directly to the battery for power and to a switchable power source (blue wire) to turn it off and on.

1. look up and purchase a "low level converter". you can use this to splice into your factory speaker wires. you don't need to cut the speaker wires completely, as the converter just needs a signal.
2. get an wiring kit.
3. wire up lol

there's obviously more to it, but considering your lack of detail of what you have, that's all i can really tell ya. feel free to pm me if you got more questions. (been doin systems for 13yrs)

Just make sure to tap into the front door speaker wiring because the rear doors do not get full power!! I'm guessing that you do not have the factory infinity system with amp and 7 speakers now? If so, then you have to splice in before the amp.
