Default Big Thanks, what to watch for?

Used to own a 04 QC 4x4 4.7L Put 220,000kms on it never had a problem reliable, strong efficient truck.

Just purchased a 06 QC 4x4 hemi. Mint condition except it had two problems which I have to thank you guys in the forums for helping me fix. One was the recirc door and the other was the clutches in the rear end, changed the gear oil and added the limited slip additive problem is gone.

For the most part wanted to thank you guys for the knowledge to help me fix my truck for peanuts.

What should I look forward to breaking first on my new truck ???

Well with that kind of mileage you may want to keep an eye on things. How are all the front end components?

Don't know how many miles are on the 06. Would probably do plugs and fluid changes depending on the mileage.

I'd certainly do the fluids.
A lot of people have the missconception that the front diff only needs changing every 15K miles.
Wrong.
The front diff turns even when 4x4 isn't selected.
I change my front diff oil at the same intervals as my rear.......every 15K as the book says.
So, if you've don the rear and fixed the lsd clutch pack problem, do the front diff as well.
I bet it's not even been changed?

Al.
