Default 06 Ram 1500

I have a 06 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT V6 3.7L 6-speed Manual Transmission. I want to put either a Turbo or possibly a supercharger in it. Just looking for some insight on what would be best, brand, and pricing.
Any Help Would Be Awesome, I Will Be Back From Deployment Soon And Am Wanting To Get Everything Ready For Return

Im not trying to be mean but why would you want to invest that kind of money in such a small engine? Just not economically worth it IMO although the coolness factor would be nice just to say you did it.

I don't know all that much about superchargers but I"m pretty sure they cost a couple grand. If I were you I would do an engine transplant or trick out the car, 4,000 can go a looooong way if you're smart

supercharger or turbo kits are around 4-5k.

And i have to agree with the other guys. Spend it on an engine transplant. supercharging a v6 would only put you in the same power as a stock hemi v8 i would think.

I didnt even know they made v6 ram's. thats like owning a 4cyl ferrrari.

That's the "economy" base model engine. 3.7's are notorious for not handling boost well (I think its due to where the ring lands are on the pistons) and there are no tuning options for it other than a Jet Chip or maybe (I haven't seen one) piggyback computer. You would actually be better off (if you insist on keeping this truck and modifying it) converting it to a 4.7 first (same engine family as a 3.7, same bore size but 3.7 has a longer stoke) and then going ahead with your original plans.
