Cool Exhaust System

Hey All,

This is actually my first post, and I was hoping for some input on which kind of exhaust system to go with. I've heard good things about magnaflow, borla, cherry bomb and flowmaster; not to mention a handful of others. I've got an 07 1500 5.7L Hemi, and I want to get the best combination of sound an horsepower that I can.

Aeroturbine 3030xl

I just put one on my truck yesterday and love the sound.

Not too loud but not too quiet either.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the input, I'm gonna give the youtube approach a shot, and I'll definitely let everyone know what I decide to go with; hopefully with some pictures and vids.

I don't mean to jack your post but i have a really similar question..... I want a full system not a custom one that has a stock side exit. However i have an 04 Hemi Sport Quad Cab with the stock ground effects that has the cutout for the exhaust. Does anyone know of any kits that actually fit in the cutout correctly? Most kits have notes that say do not fit with stock ground effects.

i just cut out my stock muffler and welded up a super 40 it sounded good, about 6 months later i removed the resonator right by the rear axle and it brought out more sound with a deeper drone i guess you could say. for performance anything aftermarket is going to be better than stock but word on the street over here, (its just what i have heard so dont flame me) is that flowmasters are one of the more restrictive aftermarket mufflers. throw a cold air on too if you want it to sound like a monster truck when you smash the gas plus its going to give you more power in combination with exhaust
