So you got HIDs on your truck? If you do can I get a pic? I think I may go with the 6K or 8K. Just wanting to know what the 6 looks likes.

I have been reading and looking at vids on youtube and it seems easy enough to do the conversion on them. It simply is plug and play.

 

Yeah I really like those. Looks like I'm going with the 6K.

 

So I just ordered them from HIDExtra and went with the 8K. I want my little blue tint to them just like the halogens I have on the truck right now.

 

If you want to color match then if you get 8k in the heads, get 6k in the fogs.

People have hit and miss with HIDextra when it comes to PnP. You may need those (4) 50 watt load resistors

 

Yea man I installed HIDs on my 07 a while back. never done it before and HIDextra sends you a diagram, it was really easy, hardest part was finding where to mount the ballasts and hide the wires...you will get a relay for our year truck that has to run from the battery and to one of the ballasts..but HIDExtra has been pretty decent for me and the prices are great...I have 10k in my truck both heads and fogs, they are pretty blue, But I personally like that style..

I went with the 8K for both. Yeah I heard the hardest part is to find where you put the ballasts. Can you post a pic on where you put yours?
