A tip: When you go to take the cover off, only unscrew the top 2 bolts half way that way when all the bolts are out the oil doesnt go everywhere, it will just drop straight down.

 

Already did the pump way and it seems to have silenced the gear whine. Just going to baby it until I get $$ to replace everything. $1500 for a rear end is not exciting to look forward to. But once its all replaced Ill change the oil the right way. I promise.
