depending on what gears you have you will notice more acceleration with a 4.10 or higher since your tires are bigger than stock.
other than that superships is a good choice

Gears and a 3865 Superchips are good. I havent bought my gears yet but i'm looking into getting some 4.56 gears. I have a 3865 flashpaq and it woke up my 4.7 alot. Plus i bought the transmission upgrade for $40 and it made it feel like a whole different truck. You should look into it if your interested.

Being a four wheel drive,If you changed the gears in the rear. You'd HAVE TO change them in the front also or, No four wheel drive for you my friend.

exactly, what about an e-fan? the lighter weight will be needed for the winch and grille guard on my wish list

I just bought a 4.7 myself and am going through the same thing. The biggest mod by far I have done is the Superchip programmer with the "91 performance tune". It really woke the truck up! I did the e-fan mod too and it is not worth your time. Now I worry about it not kicking in or blowing a fuse and overheating someday. I didn't notice anything different at all! Wouldn't do it again. I also did a 3" exhaust all the way back and didn't really notice any change. My biggest complaint by far is the lazy transmission in this thing. It is a 2002 and the transmission slides into the next gear at like 1000 rpm's and makes it a dog as far as I'm concerned. Needs to hold the gears longer and shift firmer.

i do know its only about an 18 hp gain and that there is no noticable difference in a vehicle unless there is at least 15-20 hp gain so not noticing a difference is understanable but 18 horsepower is the equivilant of taking away 126 lbs of weight (not counting the fan removed) and just shy of .2 sec off a 1/4 mile time so it may not feel big but every bit helps and adds up. i can just feel this little motor is being held back and want to free up the power.

I know when I took off my grill guard and winch my front end lifted an inch. So that was A LOT of weight. Keep that in mind when you are looking at your fuel costs.

exactly those guards and winches weigh about 200 lbs so all the weight i can take off the front helps, but an advantage to that is less rear-up under heavy accelration providing better traction during the acceleration
