02 Ram 1500 Starts, dies a few seconds later

2002 DOdge Ram not running right
My Dad has a 2002 Dodge Regular cab, the truck has had this problem too. It has stopped but now under load it has no power we are thinking fuel pump, or fuel filter what does anyone else think?????

02 dodge ram 1500 starts and dies right away
we switched the fuse out from the adjustable pedal control relayto the engine control relay and fires right up and idles now for future if any one else has this problem
