I would lose all the ground effects. Yeah you can fit 35s with just a level, but it will rub in certain situations (Full lock on an incline for example). Also I would recommend getting new shocks as well. As for the bigger tires I am not sure. Honestly, I am looking to stick with my 35s and sometime down the road I would like to get a 3" body lift and I would be happy around there

35s fit with just a level but don't leave much room for articulation. IMO if you are going to actually use the truck off-road or to haul, go at least body lift/level combo if you want 35s. Much bigger than 35" tires and you start to run the risk of running your front CV shafts at too much of an angle, significantly weakening them. If you want bigger than 35s you really need to be looking for a SFA truck "on the cheap"...

Rear is a AAM 9.25", front is an 8" IFS. Chrysler went away from Dana with the 2nd Gen Rams. Not really that weak of a CV setup UNTIL you increase the angle of the joints, they get progressively weaker as the angle increases.

Some guys run 37s with no problem, but I've had a few in my hunting club snap 'em running 37s. You also have a lot of weight when the tires start getting that big.

Strongest setup for 37s would be a 4" suspension lift and 3" body combo as the 4" lift is easier on the CV angle than a 6" would be and of course a body lift does not effect suspension.

yep i am totaly fimilar with 2 gen rams and i no mine is ifs and by experance with lifting up quads with bigger tires and how week the cvd's get when the angel is bad it sucks i am shure it would be the same with the trucks so i think ill stick with 35;s or 36 at the most. i would love the 4 sus lift and 3 body but this hell hole state i live in i can only be a total of 9 inches of lift wheels+ tires so that kindof limits what i can do
