Well, a few days before the last big storm in the Mid-Atlantic I went back to the dealer and tested the window with them. Leak found in less than two minutes with water pooling in the passenger channel and then over flowing. See picture of bin under seat after night of rain. Service Manager said they were testing for a leak in the wrong area of the window.

Dealer called in a "Window Leak Specialist" and from what I understand the window was manufactured incorrectly, something to do with drain channels not present. Anyway new back window installed and no leaks through the last two storms. Glad I got this one in. Truck just turned 36k while all this was happening so N/C for this or the new Rack & Pinion replacement back in June.

Hope the Lifetime Powertrain is legitimate now.

"Drain channels not present"

I have been having this problem with my truck for a year now. I run water over the rear window and the channels fill up then leak into the under seat compartment.

Where are the channels supposed to be??

CMA, to be honest with you I can't see any difference in the track/channel of this new window compared to the original one. Since it has been replaced though not one more leak. Who knows the may have just told me it was these "channels” and they could not identify the true issues but concurred that it was leaking and sought authorization from Dodge to proceed with a replacement.

I fixed the 3rd brake light, still leaking. Ran hose over back of truck, removed rear seats, and it comes in around the window seams, fills up the channel, then overflow in the back, either to the left or right depending on how the truck is leaning. Then into the tool bin.

Mine didnt leak for the first 1.5 years, but I suspect the seals wore. I wish there were drain channels as that would solve the problem. May make some of my own.

I would call dodge and tell them you contacted the local news and they were possibly doing a story about it. Also tell them several people have had the same issue on here. I think threatening a public discussion could help
