I was driving today on the highway and all of a sudden the abs light and brake light came on i pulled over and noticed there was a whining noise coming from the hood loud and when i looked it was the abs pump making noises i disconnected it and drove home any ideas?

 

when you disconnected the pump (hopefully, you weren't in any danger of burning yourself or anything...), did the noise cease? I'm sure your ABS warning light was still on (or did you remove the fuse?)...

 

The pump will still making weird noises and i disconnected one of the plug that go in it the bigger one towards the left and the fuse #6 and it stoped making noises and cut my speedometer out but brakes still work and lights still on. You think its the pump?
