any one know the best to get long/short tube. and will any bolt up to factory exhaust. and with long tube can you cut and weld exaust to fit with factory cats?

Shorts and mids are easiest to keep the cats. The cats can be kept with LTs also but they must be moved back and in doing so, some shops dont like doing so.

As for fitting in with factory exh, only shorts will fit what you need. Anything else and you will be redoing exh pipes

I gathered from other posts that long tubes were the best in terms of performance, but as weedahoe states, you'll probably have to move the stock cats which may (or may not) present a problem.

Do they make a tri-Y (4-2-1) header set for this truck? They are favored among the Civic SI builders because they offer a broader torque curve over the stock short-tube header that comes from the factory.
