Default Differential Cover

Thinking about putting a chrome diff cover on my 07 1500. What do you think about this one from Moe's. Any other suggestions?

You could just paint your original one...I didnt use "chrome" but sure you could find some for it.

I have the same chrome one from Moe's sitting in the box in my garage. Waiting for my diff fluid to be due to be changed in about 11k miles. It's a little thin for my liking, but I don't think it's a bad cover. Might hear a bit gear whine that you wouldn't normally hear with the thicker stock cover.

In the meantime, I painted mine red to match the truck.

I'm on the fence right now, I may just keep the red stock cover and replace the stock bolts with some nice, knurled, allen head, stainless steel ones I picked up not long back...

Thanks Hammer thats exactly the opinion I was looking for. I don't want something thinner than stock I'll shop around. Looks like I may have to spend a few more $$$ and get a polished aluminum.

Hammer, I think it'd look good by adding the stainless bolts!

I really like the PML polished aluminum cover that I'm using.

I'm inspired - maybe I'll paint mine when I get gears in a month or two.

It really does look good painted. It just makes that back end look a little cleaned up IMO

The PML and the Mag Hytech are the best ones available IMO, and unfortunately are priced accordingly. But they offer better cooling than the stock cover...

Hammer, I like yours (currently red) as it matches the truck and agree with jake that you should just add SS bolts to add a bit of contrast to it.

OP - as much as I like chrome, I would just paint mine if i were going to do anything to it.
