Changing spark plugs
I used two 6's and a 2 , 3 inch extentions. One swivel and a magnetic retriever. The trick is to break the seal of the spark plug unscrew it. Then as you lift it out separate the socket from the 3 inch extention , All the while ,holding on too the spark plug socket. Your gonna drop it. thats what the retriever is for. Repeat the process too install. By the time you get good at it. the rest are waiting for you. But much easier. I did the hardest ones first. 5 hr install. No hurry just took my time. Hope it helps.
My Service guy recommended I stay with the Copper Champions as well, so I did. Took me 4 hrs. Kind of a pain to get at the back ones, but saved me the $325 Dodge wanted to charge.
I used all the same plugs. Never heard of the 30K and 90K differences before this thread.

Thats what my friend at my Dodge dealership told me as well..that they are the same...trust me i have been going to him for 10 yrs now and he hasnt done me wrong..I get my oil changed at the dealership for $15 cant get that price any other place....so i think if there were two different types he would of told me....
Iwas told by the guy i go to at the dealer ship,,, is that the hemi was built with the basic spark plug and thats what is going to give you the best results..if you put the platnim in it wont fire right and it will screw with the computers...
One word of advise, as you are apparently changing these for the first time---don't overtighten them, these are aluminum heads, and you can strip them out if you get too crazy The FSM calls for 13 ft/lbs torque---basically wind them tight until they touch, then 1/8 +/- turn more, or torque them to 13 ft/lbs.
Something else that really helps, put silicone grease on the boot inside the plug socket

I worked for a Dodge Dealer for a while as a service writer, all techa know changing the plugs in the hemi are a pain. Patience is needed, the book pays 3 hours to change the plugs. According to Dodge training you do not remove the master cylinder to change the plugs. As many have stated above its a matter of using the right combo of extensions and swivel head. Also the hemi is designed with 30,000 mile plugs on the top and 90,000 mile plugs on the bottom side. Good Luck

There is no "top" or "bottom" plug and no, they're not on a staggered interval. All at once and all the same plug. 50K is probably sufficient. I changed the plugs on my C at 49K and they weren't horribly out of spec.
