So i got the code about 2 weeks ago, today i put a new o2 sensor in and did my plugs, pretty much a tune up. Cleared out the codes and the P0032 code came right back, ever since it originally went the truck idles rough when sitting at a light in gear and when its cold feels like its hesitating. I also did a compression test today and those were fine. But im at a loss for why the code is still up, any suggestions?

 

the p0032 code is O2 Heater Circuit High Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1. This is the driver side before the cat sensor. Is this the one you replaced?

 

Yes it is, im at a loss for what the issue is.

 

After i change out a bad sensor i always clear the code then pull the + battery cable off and ground it to reset the pcm.
If that doesnt work i would take the new sensor back and swap it for a new one if its under warranty.

 

Had the o2 sensor looked at and it was working fine, havent pulled the bat cable tho.

 

Will I had the codes before but not the sytoms. After replacing them a month later they came back. I'm taking her inn tomorrow for a check up.

 

Ended up my PCM is shot, at least its under warranty still.

Hey Guys, I am having the same trouble with my O2 Sensor. I have changed the B1S1, B2S1, and B1S2 just to try them all. Still get the code. Zero, is this what happened to you and it was your PCM? I have tried grounding the pcm to clear, no dice. Two different code readers, no dice. I also have a Power Tuner that I can watch the voltage on the O2 sensors, B1S1 does seem a little high (1.0 when others read .8). I dont even want to know what a PCM costs......(maybe I do, lol). I have been up and down a lot of forums, this one seems the most helpul. Thx Gents!
