My 07 hemi keeps throwing the check engine light and keeps saying low oil pressure. Oil levels are fine. Could the oil pump already be going out?

 

I have heard that there is a pcm reflash for certain year models that fixes a low oil pressure code. Maybe someone will pop in and confirm this.

 

Ill look around for it. Hopefully there is one cause I would hate to have to deal with replacing it. Wouldn't suprise me tho my EGR went out right when dodge says to replace it so who knows what I'm in store for.

 

I was just talking about in another thread about adding a mechanical oil gauge on the engine for testing purposes. It may be something you also want to do to see what is going on inside the engine. It may be the pump, it could just be the sensor?
