For these factory warn winches, I have found on almost every one purchase, the problem is the front plug. The cover doesn't seal properly, and the female pin tubes become very corroded over time. What happens is the pins in the controller get pushed into the female ends and due to the corrosion, the tubes break off in the plug back inside where the wire attaches. This is a factory flaw in design and needs to have a recall done by warn. But we all know that won't happen. Best solution is to replace the factory plug from the bumper to winch. The problem is, can't find the part number anywhere online to order 1. If anyone finds that out please post it here for us.
