I just did it this summer it's not too bad. You gotta take the defrost panel off and all the lower paneling around the tranny hump off. Then unbolt the frame from the ends by the door, under the cup holder, then up by the windshield. Then unhook all the plugs from the firewall under the column and also there is a plug by the passenger kick panel, then unbolt the column and let it hang down then it all should come out as one piece.
I used kseal, and it seems to be working. I still get a wif of old school bus. But the windows don't fog up any more. And there's heat through all the vents, insted of the passenger side.
Its a pretty involved job but not particularly hard to do. You have to have the a/c evacuated by a shop before you start and plan a few days to get it done. It took me 2.5 days to get it all back together not counting the defrost panel I had to order because mine shattered when I took it off.
