Default Lift/Tire question

hey everyone. I just joined this site because a few weeks ago I bought my first ram.

I have a 2002 ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.9l.

It has a 4in superlift on it, with 33in tires.

My questions are:

1. How big of tires can I put on the truck with the current lift? I know a lot of people on here have 35s with a level, so I was wondering if I could put any size bigger with the 4in lift.

2. Is there any way to add any more lift to the truck, other than a body lift?

I would like to put 37s on the truck, but I dont want to pay to get a body lift put on right now, and Im not sure how hard it is to put on.

thanks for the help in advance

35s will fit with no problem and have a decent amount of room for articulation.

If you want 37s, you bought the wrong truck if you wheel. IFS and 37 or larger tires is a pretty risky proposition. Too high an angle of the CV joints is required, significantly weakening an axle that is not in the league of a SFA to begin with.

Stay at 4" and go with the 35s and you should be ok. Yes, front end components will wear faster and there is risk of snapping a CV, but not near the risk of running 37s...
