Default Leveling Kit???

I just installed the Rough Country 3" suspension kit and i still want the truck taller in the front. Would a daystar 1.5" level be ok to install after i already installed the new coil springs and shocks? Still have stock wheels and tires waiting for my mud grapplers to come in

in the RC suspension kit are you referring to the 3in longer coils? I believe that Weed did that but I would think at a certain point it would just compress the springs rather than provide lift....I would stick with the 3in coils and do a body lift or spindles

Well they call it 3 inch suspension lift but all it really is is 2 inch coils in the front with new shocks and 1 1/2 inch blocks in the back. theres enough space already for the grapplers since they're only 33's but i wanted that leveled look

well your problem might be the width of the tires, if they are 12.5 and you have the stock rims you will need wheel spacers...if the coils are 2in and the blocks are 1.5 then essentially you are only getting .5in lift up front over the back when you are TRYING to get around 2in to level it out...take the blocks out

Yeah, without those rear blocks you will be level. You can add 1.5 spacers in the front and them add lift shackles in the rear and leave the blocks and that would lift you also

Now, mind you with the extended coils and a spacer the probability of the UCA hitting the spring bucket is pretty inevitable. It will get annoying and you will hear a bang quite a bit going over bumps. I would look at a longer spindle and keeping the springs and add to the blocks in the back to make it level. Either that or get 1" blocks for the back and keep the setup you have in the front. I have the 2" coils from RC and no blocks in the back and my truck sits perfectly level.

BTW, the coils are only 2" longer but they are a stiffer spring which holds the truck up higher than the softer stockers. It's not that the spring should have been 3" longer.
