Default Changing rim size

I'm looking to get new tires and I figure i would get some new rims too. I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Daytona with stock 20 in. by 9 in. rims with 275/60/R20. Does it make a difference if I change the rim size but keep the same size tire? For example- switching to an 18 in. or 22 in. rim and buy a tire thats still 33 in.

GoManGo. But as along as I keep the same 33 in. tire, I shouldn't have to worry about changing any gears or anything else?

Nope. I have 20" rockstars with 33" toyo M/T's and stock gears. I can go with 35's with stock gears and be fine. Im a huge fan of the GoManGo color. Get Black SRT10 rims.

I'm definitely looking for black rims. Are the srt-10 rims the same bolt pattern as my truck?

I am in need of some help. I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 4x4 4 door short bed. I currently have 20in rims on it and am wanting to put new rims and tires on it. How small of rim diameter can i put on it? i know i want 33 12.50 _ not shure how low i can go with the rim to clear the rotors. Is 17 as low as i can go? I could really use the help. thanks

Yes a 17" rim is the smallest you can go.
