I have an 04 that does the same thing but no other problems runs great Hemi's just tick I have had every diagnostic done that I can think of and everyone says the same thing it is just the character of the Hemi to knock so turn up the stereo.

i seen one of those repo style tow truck with a hemi. sounded like a 24v cummins. i asked the guy about it and he said he had the dealer replace the bottom end twice for one noise like mine and the left head for the tick noise under warranty and neither fixed it and after all the work the dealer told him it was normal.

after i heard that thing run it made me feel a little better. that was when i first got the truck.

timing chain and oil pump are at the front of the engine behind the timing cover.

Toner wheel on the crank is at the back of the engine. Maybe something in the windage tray is getting tapped. I guess the best thing would be to pull the oil pan and have a look

Which I don't have, but have heard is valve train related.

i have an 03 and it does the same thing, same sound. it sounds like a knock from the rear, tc,oil pan area,strange noise but has always done it.

Nice vids but none are HEMI related.

(first vid) 3.7/4.7 rocker issues are common as are overheating and misfiring

(second vid) again, that vid is 4.7

(third vid) is a 3500 which is likely a CTD
