Im actually painting mine next week though...If you had a second set, I am coming down to the LSU game this weekend and could pick em up and paint them for you for practically nothing

My usual way is to sand w/red scotch brite, 600 800 1000grit paper, then dawn soap, degreaser and mold release remover, then alcohol....next is a filler primer (to smooth them out) sand with 1000 if you need it smoother, then clean and apply base (I do a light coat, one or two wet coats, then a medium coat depending on how it takes) then a clear (light coat on wet base, then two wet coats and maybe a last medium coat)

Flash time is around 15-20 minutes on a good polyurethane paint, and dont put em on for at least a day (can set them in a warm oven for awhile or under a hot light) and dont buff/wax for a week or so if its less than 80 out
