looks a lot cleaner to me , good job GARIDER, what i did on my intake box to get more air was...... i took the whole box assembly out, that square tube where the air goes in thats hanging off the box towards the headlight , i flipped that over and cut the bottom off the tube and made it look like a U , for more air flow, when you put it back in you will never tell and you will get more air flow IME with stock box and filter housing

looking at the picture you took with that set up you should need a small mini cone filter or put the sensor into that tube . right ? there should of been a tube with a sensor going into the stock hat dont forget about that !!

08RamMan, I like that even better! Where did you get the two Blue fittings, and are they 3" ? I would prefer to have black, but could work with a color.

Not sure if it would work or not on the Hemi. I see that you have a different engine. The TB and airbox inlet look to be a little more level, where the Hemi TB sits lower than the airbox inlet. You can see that in my photo. It would be worth a try though.

Yes, I just had this mocked up for a photo. I'll have to install the sensor in the tubing and will probably just re-connect the breather hose to the original air box.

I have the '08 4.7....a little different but you can make it work with different adapters. The elbow is a 90 degree 4" to 3.5" reducer.

I got it from www.siliconeintakes.com.

They have different colors and styles.
