Cool 04 dodge ram 1500 overheating

looking for some help. my dodge just started overheating when i pull my boat. when i get it up to about 65, it overheats, when i fall below 60, comes back down to 1/2. it has a 4.6. my boat weighs approx 4000 lbs. been towing it for 5 years without a problem until last year. will a larger radiator work? it has a 2 core in it now. thanks

A larger rad will not work if your water pump isnt circulating or if the stat isnt opening. What all have you checked and ruled out so far? Do you have proper level of coolant?
