If you are getting codes you would want to have them actually scanned and given to using a OBDII scanner which any autp parts store will normally connect to the truck and give the codes

Wow, I had the EXACT same problem last night. Made the trip from VA to FL. While driving back from FL to VA my brake light and ABS came on... Check engine light came on a couple hours later. I believe it is the battery. My speedo was acting screwy as well. I just checked my battery with a battery tester here at work and it failed miserably. I am waiting for another guy to get back to the office so he can jump start me. I pulled a new battery from the shelf so when I get home I am going to swap them. I will let you know how it works out!

OK.

Well, I have a small wholesale distribution company in virginia (Radiators/AC parts/Anything with heat exchange) and a few collision body parts.

I know the lady that owns the NAPA stores in the area pretty well and have a NAPA line of batteries in here. She gave me a battery tester and I threw it on. It read 12.4 Volts but the CCA was like 220 as the battery is rated around 650ish.

Long story short, battery tester said battery was shot (Original battery, 04 Ram). So I grabbed me a Napa Lengend 75 from my rack (my cost was like $79 and Napa has a $15 rebate on them). CCA I think was 960. I changed it at home later last night. Truck certainly fires up a hell of a lot better but I am still getting the Brake/ABS Code.

When I was driving back from FL. The Brake/ABC lights came on...then they went back off for a few hours....then came back on. If for some reason the codes reset and go back to normal I will certainly give you the heads up!
