How do I adjust the vertical plane of a 2006 1500 QC 4x4 Laramie headlamp?

Thank you for not deleting the thread. Just adjusted the lights on our 2005 1500.
Thanks for pointing out where the right adjustment screw was.

Thanks!

Thank you for not deleting your post. i spent fifteen minutes looking for vertical adjustment on mine because the manual i got said there were two. I couldn't find the one that was pictured underneath I just the one on the inside and now im adjusted up. They must of switched in the styles or something and just never updated the book. gotta love that.

Default Adjust headlights 2006 ram 1500

Need to raise beam. Have identified adjustable bolts. Used a T20 tork driver. Both screws turn easily in either direction. Beams do not budge. Any help much appreciated

I think they are spring loaded, and as they don't move often, they get to like the spot the are in, regardless of what you do with the adjusters.....

Take 'em out, take them inside, let them warm up, then lube the pivot points. Move 'em around a bit when they are warm, they should be happier when you put them back on the truck.

thanks for the feedback. Will have to look closer as I don't understand the mechanism at all. Are you saying to remove the entire headlight assembly? I don't see anything that might be a pivot point. Also, I live in south Florida. Thanks again.

Yep. Things are cleverly concealed in there, and having it out in your hands will tell the story a lot better than I can. It can be a pain...... so, have some place at least out of the wind to work.
