I have the torn seat foam problem as described in the faq but I don't want to spend extra for a gallon of the weldwood landau top adhesive since I don't need anywhere near that much. Does anyone have another product that they can recommend to use instead that may be cheaper?
Yeah, Ive got the same issue and Ive got all my material but just not the time to pull the seat, tear is apart and do it right now. But I do have a spray can of high adhesive 3M glue.
thats i am using is 3m adhesive i need to get my foam though i think this is a normal wear problem for all dr's, it seems as iff alot of us are restuffing our seats i wonder if theres a way to stop the rips, i wasnt gonna use burlap i was just hoping the new foam added and the ruff spots ground down along with a layer of indoor/outdoor carpet between the seat foam and metal would stop the rips....i got some extra carpet laying around and its about 1/4 inch thick and rugged.....
Some of the welds and sheet metal on the seat frame have burrs and sharp edges which tear into the seat cushion foam. Over time, after getting in and out of the truck, the tear gets bigger. I sit in my seat at eleven o'clock without a small cushion under my left butt cheek.

Thats funny you are using left over carpet you have laying around because we just bought a new living room suit and because the old was going out, I cut the top part of the couches where they are sewn together and removed the foam that was in there. Ive got some nice long sheets of some thick foam I am going to use. I read somewhere where Hobby Lobby had some foam but Ive never looked in there to see.
thanks for that idea weed i just got new couch set and i have the old cushions in the garage cause i forgot to take em to the dump when i trashed the rest....sweeeeet thanks....
