LAMP OUT is driving me Nucking Futs!!!! HID/RESISTOR

Been back and fourth with this to what seems like 100 times, driving me absolutely nuts. Just got new headlights and some different hid bulbs. Took it all out, have a 50w resistor, installed it all on one side, worked good. NO lamp out on dash.. Went to to other side seemed to be good, installed everything put it back together and the **** says lamp out. hids everything work great just cannot live with the light.. I then put it all to stock cut the resistors off, and i still get lamp out, tried to cycle the key, unplug battery and nothing LAMP OUT with stock headlights, and no one of my tail lights is not burnt out. I have a 35w hid kit w/relay harness to battery, 50w resistors hooked up to the low beam side, halogen highs. I dont understand wtf is going on im about to drive it off a cliff

WEEDAHOE, i just got my new sportiva BI-xenon HID KIT BY GE with the HI/LO HID bulbs for my dodge, i took that cheap set out with those caps. maybe you can help me out, the kit came with a resistor, but they failed to put where to splice the resistor in there instruction book , WOW, i read in another fourm that you don't cut the wire but you use these little clips to install it as an inline between the BALLAST & THE HID BULB, not to cut the factory harness, is this the correct way to install the resistor,???

Those are the same ones I use in my tails and i got mine from ebay also....LOL

well here is where i am with my hid, i solder the resistor from the ground to the low beam, now that my low beam is working my hi/beam is flashing with the lamp out light on as well, now they telling me my 03 ram is part of the 2% of the rams that needs 2-resistors, now i need one between the hi/beam to the ground as well, on my bi-xenon kit, does that sound right,??? this is getting to be a pain in the butt,,

Xenon means HID low and Halogen high. Because there is only ONE HID beam (low), you only need one resistor on each side.
