Hi everyone, finally replaced the ole black dodge ram with a 2007 quad cab 4x4..Love the truck, 1 question though, it seems like the electric fan runs all the time, i think its the condensor fan, its on the rad that is located on the driver side, not sure if this is normal, anyway any advice is appreciated..

If the AC is on then yes the fan will run. Does it run with the AC off?

 

As weed says its the AC condenser fan. Should only run when the AC Compressor clutch is engaged.

 

the ac has a button to turn it on right? welll the fan runs even when the button is not lit up(a/c off)???

I wonder if your switch is bad? maybe the one on the compressor itself? Are you sure your compressor is even turning off? I'd pop the hood and let your truck idle for a bit and seee if your compressor is cylcing on/off with the interior switch in the OFF position. You may have low freon or just a bad pressure switch?
