Default Ram 1500 rims and tires

hey everybody!
Im new to dodge forum but have owned rams for years. i have a couple of questions i think u guys can help me out with. i own a 2008 ram 1500 5.7 liter hemi and i was thinking of down sizing my rims to 18x9's and was wondering what all that would effect with 33" tires including brakes and stuff like that. my other question is i was thinking about putting a magnaflow dual exhaust and was wondering how much these run locally for u guys including install. thanks

its all depending on what tire type/size and what rim you get...you could get a lighter or heavier rim, a more aggressive heavier tire or a more street-able lighter tire...obviously a smaller tire and lighter rim will give you more mileage and power, because centripetal force is a biatch lol

I just paid $160 for mine but i know the guy I wouldnt say more than $300 if you are getting chrome tips and a si/do muffler

if you have the stock 20s and stock goodyears you will probably be sitting close to where you started power/mpg wise. If you have the stock 17s and 31s (i think?) you will probably lose a little of both, nothing big

I would get 17s if I were you. 18s are bleh, and will be harder to sell to somebody to be honest (thinking resale here). I always see 18 inch rims going for a pretty low price. but hey, if you just like the way the 18s look better, then go for it man, it's your truck u know?

Honestly, I wish I had 17s lol, but it came with these 20s and I cant find anyone with some 17s with 35s on it to trade me haha

On my first exhaust setup, a shop charged me 150 to do a custom catback. He supplied the pipe, bent it and welded everything and I supplied the muffler and tips off ebay.
