Default how hard Nightshade to apply to headlights

Hey folks, I had projection lenses on my truck and have decided to put it mostly back to the OEM Headlights. I would like to darken the lenses of the stock headlights though. How hard is that tinting paint to apply?

Not hard at all...you'll get lots of tips and tricks by using the search function.

Just remember if you mess up you can sand and start again. It also goes on very dark so less is more with that stuff.

Thanks Atwiss, That was what I was hoping for.

Jake, I did the search. Have you ever noticed how 2 threads can have the exact same question and complete different line of answers? Personally I like to post question sometime intentionally, Even if it has posted billion times before, Just for that reason.

Atwiss answer is case in point, Somehow I missed that video while searching and reading.

I sprayed the VHT directly over my sanding. Never used adhesion promoter. That was on the tails though and I did throw 3 coats of clear over the top of the VHT.
You will get some minor chips in your headlights from just road debris such as dirt, sand, bugs..etc so beware you may have to do them again in a year or two which is really no big deal.

Dirty, I bought a adhesion promoter from my paint supply shop in the brand that I use for my HVLP guns (autobahn/Wanda) and they make a plastic adhesion promoter and I did my tailgate spoiler with it two years ago and really use my truck bed and its still holding

im convinced that stuff works
