The other night I turned on my interior light by pressing it and as I went to turn it back off, the cover was loose and didn't turn off the light. Has this happened to anyone else before? It appears that there is just a little white switch that pops down to turn the light on and off. Does anybody know if there is just something like a spring or whatnot in there that could be broken? Appreciate any help, not really wanting to have be without the cover and looking to upgrade here before too long and don't want to have a minor defect like that deter anyone from the truck. Thanks.

 

I think pictures would be best for this situation being most of us have not had this issue. I know you can buy those lens covers. They are in the Parts Manuals I have in the links below. Other parts Im not sure about. You may have to take the entire OHD down to look at it more carefully.

 

Alright, I'll get some pictures of it and post it up. Taking off the OHD is kinda what I was expecting to have to do. Just kinda weird how it broke out of nowhere and I didn't pull anything out of the lens when I popped it off.
