Default Truck stall on me after I fill up with gas...?

This is the 2nd time this has happened. I fill up and go about my way. (5 mins tonight or a day or so the first time. I happen to make a left turn and my truck just dies on me. No spudder, no nothing. The lights didnt turn off or the radio. Just goes quiet and no power and the truck just coast to a stop. Tonight it took about 3 tries to crank. 1st time cranked rite up. Both turns were at low speeds. (parking spot and turning into neighborhood. Anyone had this issue or know what is going on...? 2004 5.7 SLT

Hmm, The left turn thing makes me wonder if maybe something in fuel tank blocking the intake when you turn.

happen only when turning or going straight also. There was a a guy on DT that his truck would cut off on him with no warning or issues and he found it to be a bad connection in his PDC

Makes me wonder if you might have a lot of water laying in the fuel rails. Might try some dry gas (yellow bottle). I know it seems a little far fetched----but its a simple fix, You also might look at the connection blocks for the pcm, or even while its running in neutral, wiggle the wiring harnesses and see if you can duplicate it. Try turning the steering wheel while its running, just sitting still, possibly some wiring issues in the steering column---

just some maybe's.

Join the club of hundreds if of others. LOOK and that's just for '05 year. What year do you have? 06-08's are run on diff computers than 03-05's.
I remember another member posting up about the same issue last year. I did a search but couldn't find the thread. His was after filling with gas too. Might be PCM related?

Maybe check the evap canisters in front of the fuel tank for holes, cracks, bad hose?
