i have an 02 ram 1/2 ton, 360 motor, auto, i have had it for about 3 years. when i first bought it i custom made a magnaflow exhaust and deleted my cats. never had any problems. recently(about 4 months now) i have had problems where the truck will almost idle so low it dies when slowing down. only every once in a while not constantly. i have cleaned the intake, replaced all sensors in the top of the motor, and dont have any codes at all. im getting tired of the problem happening in rush our traffic, once it idles down to 400-500 it will not rev up at all or move at all unless i floor it and not only does that look stupid but it is going to cause an accident. i have read about alot of these cases on the hemi's and 4.7's but none really on the old 360 any advice would be great because times are tight and im not about to go to a mechanic and experiment with it. Welcome. Maybe changing the O2's would help being you are having idling issues? What about checking the intake plentium for any oil leaks which are also common for the 360?
