There is no delay on my 03 unless I have reset the PCM. And then it is only the first time after the reset.

i had a delay for a while, replaced the starter - no more delay

I guess its pitiful that we both know and detect that. I guess it means we reset pretty often....

I'm affraid so. I still have a PCM locked to a older version and can't reflash, so I have done everything I can to try to fix it.
