Default problem with my drive lights.

So any ways i hooked up my buddies trailer he uses to move dirt and i knew the lights didn't work on the trailer so i took it to another friends shop to get them fixed. while fixing the trailer lights and checking them i noticed that my back driver side drive lights don't work.

now the wierd thing is when i start my truck with the remote starter the driver side lights work and the passenger lights don't and when i turn the lights on both sides work till i hit the brake or shut the truck off with the remote. the brake lights and signal lights and reverse lights all work but i don't have power for the drive lights.

edit: turns out the whole left side don't work with the lights on and the whole right side front and back don't work with my remote start on.

Sounds like a ground issue....BUT, I know there are lots of guys with the PCB board corrosion/melt issue's. I'd pull off your taillights and do a visual on the little computer board that's mounted on the backside of them. They might be either corroded or shorted out.

Yeah I was going to say the same thing for an 03. They did have those issues on the rear circuit boards.

i don't think its the circuit board because i don't have any power at all to the plug. and once i start my truck with the romote starter it works on the driver side. I guess the best but a pain in the *** way to do it is follow the wire.
