So you are asking if the truck will be taller or not after adding a leveling kit on the front AND 2" larger diameter tires? Maybe I am missing your question, but it seems to me that the answer is obvious that it will in fact be quite a bit taller.

Not sure if anyone can accurately answer your question about your garage door. All you can do is measure your truck now, and measure how much clearance you have between the roof and the garage door. I would guess your truck will be appx. 4 inches taller after the 35's and level. Good luck

The top of your cab won't necessarily be 2" higher with a 2" level kit, but it will certainly be taller. Probably ~1.5" taller. Or ~2" with a 2.5" level.
Then, if you go with larger diameter tires, it will be even taller.
On tires, the truck will be half as much taller from the difference you go up in size due to only half the diffference is between the center of the lugs and the graound and the other half is up in the fender if you will.
So, 33" tire to 35" tire will raise your entire truck up 1".
With a level AND 35's, you will raise the overall cab height up about 2-2.5".

Lift the truck, get the 35" tires. If it don't fit in the garage, you can always make an adjustment!!!

Just remember, "stuffing" tires limits what you can carry, tow and where you can go off-road. You need a assess how you use your truck. If it's mainly for looks, 35s on just a level will fit fine, but if you need some decent articulation in there, you may want to opt for either slightly more lift or slightly smaller tires...

The more I think about it I think I may go with 33's instead of 35's I won't have to worry about lifting it and I want to be able to do a little off roading if I have too. I also tow a trailer every once in a while. my next question is will a 12.5 fit without wheel spacers ? I'm not sure what that comes down to in metric like a 305x18x33 or something like that. But 12.5 seems to be the only width that is offered on most tires that big

I ran 33x12.5x17s on my truck for the first year I had it, but with aftermarket wheels with a negative offset and 4.5" of backspacing. Fit fine.

Not sure about doing it on the stock wheels...

So a good rule of thumb to follow when I buy wheels is a negative offset and 4.5" of backspacing ? Thats what I was having trouble figuring out. I don't mind if the tires stick a little out of the wheel wells but I don't want anything more than 2 or 3 inches outside of the wheel well. Thanks for all the response Hammer I almost have this all figured out
