Default loud hum/buzz when accelerating from a stop

Hey guys, i noticed a loud hum/buzz sound when i go to accelerate from a dead stop (at a light etc) or anytime the car is at a low gear under a little load.

basically if go from a dead stop, to accelerate i hear a "hummbzzzzz" for a second, then when i hit second gear it goes away. it's ONLY in first gear at a low RPM coming from a dead stop.

I noticed the sound literally feels like it's coming from under my left foot when driving, right about the rear of the driver's side wheel well.....any ideas?

Heat shield? loose bolts? exhaust problems? help me out guys?

You are just going to have to get under there with a small ball peen hammer or rubber mallet and tap on things to see if anything is loose. Thats my opinion.

so i just got under the hood/under the truck and shockingly i did NOT see a manifold heat shield there.....interesting. so i know it's not that.

anything else you could think of in the drivers side of the engine bay that could loosen/vibrate that i'm missing?

Have you checked any pulleys?

Alternator?

Anything on your belt?

so i noticed something today, it makes the sound also at a high RPM when accelerating heavily. i noticed this today when my buddy's jeep decided it wanted to make me on on a straight away, i got up to about 65-70 and hear this loud almost metallic "bzzzzzzzzingggG" right before it topped off and switched gears.

so basically, it's whenever the car is pushing itself. i checked the manifold heat shield, nothing wrong, checked the cat shield, nothin'......still trying to locate it. i'll try to make a video of it later if i can.....so weird!

by the way, if anyone cares my Ram kicked the crap out of the jeep, not shockingly. haha
