Default Burnout? Rev limit or traction control??

I have an 06 mega cab with the hemi, I just ordered new tires so was goin to try and burnout with my old ones, but when I power brake and stomp the gas it will only rev to about 2100 Rpms! I have cai and diablo trinity with a 91 tune, I don't see why I can't roast them? Is there a setting I should adjust or do something different? The tires are 37 mud grapplers tho

Harder to power brake with 4-wheel disc brakes. try letting off the brakes a little. That and 37's aren't the easiest to turn to start with.

Theres a certain pressure you need on the brake peddle while you stomp on it to brake them loose. I press pretty hard then stomp on it. Haven't done that with my new tires but I would always do it with the stockers just because they suck.

Gears are going to be a major player. Dodge_Nitto has a vid of him roasting 37s with his hemi, but he's got 4.56s, if you have 3.92s or lower you'll have more trouble roasting em.

I understand you want to have fun but is it worth having at the expense of your brakes and transmission?

Can honestly say I haven't tried. I have broke them loose from a stop sign though. I don't have 37's either.

What gears? 37's are some big tires. Takes a bit to get them turning.
