Angry power steering fluid

OK, I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 which I bought about a year and a half ago. It only has 13,000 miles on it. About a month ago I noticed the fluid in the power steering reservoir was below the add line. So I added some ATF+4 to bring it just below the full line. About a week ago I noticed it was about halfway between the lines and today it's once again just below the add line. So I added some more ATF+4.

So I'm guessing I have a leak somewhere. I've got cardboard under it right now trying to confirm this. Now keep in mind I'm not the most mechanically inclined person. Should I take it back to the dealership and let them fix it? Would this be something that would likely be covered under my 3-year, 36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty? I just can't believe that a vehicle with 13,000 miles on it is already leaking something.

I would let the dealership look at it, order the parts and fix it so it is on record. Now if it is just a hose and you can buy a new one cheaper than any dealer deductible then i would fix it myself.

Check your power steering boots as well.
They can start to fill up and baloon with leaked fluid.

Hope you have better luck than I did with my 04 I took it back repeatedly having parts changed until the warranty ran out. Oh ya guess what I still have a power steering leak...

Definitely get it to the dealer while in warranty. This is a common problem and most of the time fixed by putting screw-on clamps at both ends of pressure line (both ends of line that leads from rack and pinion). You should be able to see the leak and make sure it is cleaned up after service so you can tell if it was fixed.
