I would like some info on the MDS system. I have a 08 Ram 1500 when I am driving and the MDS kicks on should the truck feel a little sluggish. My other thing is ever since I put a cold air intake on I could hear the MDS kick on and off the pitch of the truck changes is this normal with the intake

 

Its perfectly normal mine does the same thing. I just installed a Cherry Bomb Glasspack and you can definitely tell when it kicks in. Some will argue and say that you can't really feel it because it switches so fast, but I can definitely feel it and does seem to be a bit sugglish. Its perfectly normal though.

 

Although you can always get a nice tuner so you can tune the truck better and disable the MDS.
