Default Fog Light Kit, Need Help

I installed an OEM fog light kit on my 2007 1500 ST QC to later find out that the ST didn't come with the factory wiring (pigtail) needed to connect the fog lights. I installed everything including changing the switch. I guess the kit was for an SLT/Laramie that are pre-wired.

Is there a way that I can simply replace/add a wiring assembly so I can just plug the fog lights into it so it will use the OEM switch I installed (with fog light)?

I really don't want to buy an entire new kit and have to run another switch to the cabin.

Thanks.

I have an '08 STX that was pre-wired. Are you sure you are not wired?

There should be a wire down on the drivers side where the fog light sits.

You should be wired, driver side near the fog lights. However, you'll have to have the dealer flash the pcm for the switch to work

And then you will have to do a bypass to get them to work with the brights on.

Personally Id just run my own wiring harness and bypass the OEM switch.

I looked again and there is no such wiring to plug the fog lights into, what year was your friends ST? I even brought it into the dealership and the electrical guy said there wasn't one. There is a wiring harness kit online here:

I don't know if that would work. Any thoughts?

the dealer sells a wiring kit with a relay and a switch. its not too expensive but will make them work.
now if you want the factory headlamp switch you can buy that with a seperate wiring harness and have the dealer program/flash it so it will work with an oem headlamp switch with fog lamps
