I have had rocks and screws embedded in the tire tread and when rotating on the ground I would get a ticking noise but it was when the rocks/screws would make contact with the ground.

Just another idea.

if it is i would not be happy i just put a brand new Chrysler bering in on that side

It very well might be the wheel bearing, but all of them that I have had go bad are more of a grinding, than a tick. When going down the road some might confuse the sound as road noise, but you can tell pretty quickly when you turn one direction or another and the sound goes away once you take some of the weight off the bad bearing. maybe you have just caught it very early on, but if your not seeing and play in the hub, i would still be looking for the source of the hum.
