04 Ram 1500 4x4 w/Fabtech 6in Lift, Monster Wheels ?
Wider tire is no good for snow even if it has massive blocks for the tread pattern. The narrower the tire, the better it will be in inclimate weather..rain or snow..
You will need a -25mm offset for a 10" rim to provide the same backspacing, but remember, that means your wheel will stick out 1" further than your current set-up.
You will need atleast a 305mm(12"wide) tire to put on that size wheel. That will provide the same proportions as the 275's that come on the factory 20's. Good enough for street use, but too narrow and prone to curb rashing for any type of terrain use. 315mm would be best. (This is ONLY the width, I'm not even discussing height here)
The whole "Monster" wheel sounds great and all, but is unrealistic if you plan to have some safety concerns while driving in bad road conditions. i can clearly notice a difference(Night&Day) from driving my truck that sits on 275mm wide tires and then getting into my SUV that has 205mm wide tires. The SUV grabs much better.
