Default 04 Ram 1500 4x4 w/Fabtech 6in Lift, Monster Wheels ?

We just put a fabteck 6 in lift on my 04 1500 . Would like to go with Monster wheels "XD 778" 20 in. My current wheels are 17", 9 in width, 4.5 backset and a -12mm offset and I only have about .5 in between the new Fabteck spindle and knuckle. Do I need to go with a 9in rim ? All the Monsters I see have a 10 in rim width which will more then likely rub.

If you get the 20 X 10 Monsters they have them in a 4.53" BS, which will give you the same clearance as your 17" the wheel will just hang farther outside the fender.

Why would you go from a 17" wheel with a perfect backspace and offset for larger tires to a 20" wheel on a 4x4? Pavement Queen???

We have 3 rams and the 2004 is my one sons and he currently is borrowing my 17" wheels and tires. Its going to snow any day and I need my more agressive wheels and tires back. He really like the monster wheels and I believe he can get them in a 18x9, but he's really set on 20's

lol i hear you buddy.....your going to see a steep price in the jump from 18 - 20's for tires...Monsters are cool and very popular....KMD XD series (which the Monsters are apart of) have alot of good looking wheels, is he looking to go black or chrome?

Get them in 18's if the truck is going off-road at any time. That's the size I got mine in and they still look awesome. 20's wont give you much sidewall to play with on tires.
