Ok here the lay out, My boy is selling me his 2000 1500 for 1000.00, with lift kit ECT ect, were like family, so a super good deal for me. He’s deploying.

Anyway. The Truck is having Trans problem> hope not, the truck doesn’t want shift and stay in to overdrive, any Ideas. Tran’s fluid has been replaced ect. the truct has high miles on the trans only about 200,000, motor has been replaced.

 

Aside from fluid changes and filters changes, with it having such high mileage, sounds like rebuild or replace time

 

can anyone point me to the right trans. motor is a 5.9l

 

46RE. The trans in my 99 is smoked too right now. Not sure if I'm gonna bother fixing it or getting rid of it. There are a lot of good deals on rebuilt trannys on eBay.
